My Story

Wynne Dromey is a mixed media artist who works to underline the importance and power of self expression through the cultivation of love and belonging. By reflecting on various internal struggles around the topic of acceptance or vulnerability, Dromey creates pieces that encourage viewers to self-reflect on their own understandings of how they perceive themselves and the environments we live in. In many works, Dromey creates abstract spaces surrounding the central figures composed of materials such as plastic bags, bubble wrap and written notes. Dromey works to embrace these disregarded materials and transform them into a visual surface changing their narrative.

She is currently an MA student at Clark University and completed her Bachelors Degree in Studio Art and Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
